Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

By creating an account, pointing a custom domain, or generating dynamic QR links on FlexQR ("Service"), you enter into a legally binding agreement with FlexQR. If you do not agree to these terms, you must refrain from using the platform.

2. Description of Service & Account Status

FlexQR provides dynamic short-link creation, dynamic target redirection, custom logo branding, and branded subdomain routing. Accounts are categorized under the following operational states:

Trial Status: Full feature access for 7 days from initial registration.
Active Status: Unrestricted dynamic link routing backed by an active subscription.
Paused / Delinquent Status: If a subscription lapses or payment fails, dynamic link resolution displays an HTTP 403 "QR Code Paused" landing page until billing is restored.

3. Acceptable Use Policy (Zero-Tolerance Enforcement)

Prohibited Content & Malicious Activity FlexQR enforces automated and manual detection filters. You agree NOT to direct dynamic QR codes to target destinations involved in:

Phishing schemes, credential harvesting, or deceptive web clones.
Malware, ransomware, spyware, or auto-downloading scripts.
Unsolicited email spam, SMS spam, or illegal gambling portals.
CSAM, hate speech, or illicit physical/digital contraband sales.

Violation of the Acceptable Use Policy results in immediate account termination, domain blocklisting, and permanent link disabling without right of refund.

4. Custom Domains & Infrastructure Responsibilities

Users binding custom branded domains (e.g., `qr.yourbrand.com`) are responsible for delegating valid CNAME records pointing to `flexqr.tools`. FlexQR is not responsible for link routing failures caused by client-side DNS misconfiguration or expired third-party domain registrations.

5. Subscriptions, Auto-Renewal & Cancellations

Paid subscriptions renew automatically on a monthly ($1/mo) or annual ($12/yr) billing cycle via integrated payment processors (Stripe / PayFast). You may cancel your subscription at any time within your dashboard settings. Cancellations take effect at the conclusion of the active paid billing period.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, FlexQR shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from dynamic link downtime, third-party destination URL outages, or print media misprints. Users are strongly advised to scan and test generated QR codes on physical proofs prior to mass commercial printing.
